Jankowski, Baab

Mr. and Mrs. John J. Baab, Mountain Top, announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Marie Baab, to Arthur Matthew Jankowski, son of Krystyna and Adam Jankowski, Mountain Top.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Catherine and John H. Jackson, Wyoming, and George L. Baab and the late Dolly Baab, Mountain Top.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Zofia and Stefan Pietrzyk, Bronczyce, Poland, and Antoni Jankowski and the late Cecylia Jankowski, Krakow, Poland.

The bride-to-be graduated from Crestwood High School. She went on to graduate cum laude from King's College with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She also earned her Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America. She is employed as a gemologist at Baabs Jewelry Showcase, Mountain Top.

The prospective groom graduated from Crestwood High School. He went on to graduate magna cum laude earning his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy. He is a clinical pharmacy practice resident at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey.

The couple will wed Oct. 12, 2013, at St. Jude Parish in Mountain Top.
