Kingā??s splits swimming meet

WILKES-BARRE- Patricia Manning won the 200 breaststroke and the 400 individual medley to lead King's in its tri-meet against Lycoming and FDU-Florham on Sunday at the Wilkes-Barre CYC.

The Monarchs defeated FDU-Florham 185-47, but lost to Lycoming 158-93.

King's finished first in the 200 freestyle relay with a team of Macawley Brown, Caroline Fitch, Kim Brino and Rachel Jonas.

Tanner Englehart scored a team-high 13 points to lead Dallas to a girls basketball victory over Wyoming Seminary on Saturday.

Jess Hiscox and Samantha Missal each had 10 points, while Talia Szatkowski and Rachel Olszewski chipped in eight each.

Gabbie Volpetti recorded a game-high 16 points for Wyoming Seminary in the loss.
