The Pink Elegance on Parade fashion show to benefit the Northeast Pennsylvania Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure will be held Feb. 24, at 1 p.m. at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in Downtown Scranton.
It will include an afternoon of fun, food, and fashion. The show features breast cancer survivors and their families, government officials, and local celebrities. Fabulous fashions will be featured from Gap Kids, Macy’s and Suburban Casuals.
The guest who dresses in their most elegant “pink” outfit and receives the most audience votes will be crowned “Miss Pink Elegance” for 2013. All are encouraged to wear pink and compete for the title.
Basket raffles, a delicious lunch, and an opportunity to win a trip to Beach Getaway to Palm Harbor Florida are among the afternoon’s festivities, including some special surprises. Special hand-painted Pink Elegance on Parade 2013 wine glasses will be available for purchase, as well as jewelry and other Komen merchandise. A cash bar will also be available.
Reservations are first come, first serve and are limited to the first 450 paid guests. Payment must be received in advance, as this tends to sell out and tickets will not be available at the door. Reserve your seat by February 9. Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for children. For reservations, call 570.947.5852.
