The Reverend Dianiska District of the Ladies' Pennsylvania Slovak Catholic Union dinner committee recently donated $400 to the Heinz Rehab Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. The funds were the proceeds from a special gifts raffle for the benefit of the Annie's Hope Fund held at the organization's annual Christmas dinner at the Ramada Inn in Wilkes-Barre. The raffle was a matching fund project of the Ladies Pennsylvania Slovak Catholic Union (LPSCU). The Heinz Rehab Lymphedema Therapy Annie's Hope Fund provides needed supplies to patients in need. At the check presentation, from left: Diane Jason, certified lymphedema therapist, Heinz Rehab; Karen Kearney, vice president of inpatient rehabilitation, Allied Services Integrated Health System; Mary Ann Ewasko, president, Reverend Dianiska District, LPSCU; Theresa Kluchinski, national president, LPSCU; and Eleanor Kluchinski, Branch 6, LPSCU.
