Mary Ann Yatsko

Mary Ann Yatsko, 76, of Sunshine Road, Shickshinny, died Tuesday evening, Jan. 15, 2013, in Manor Care, Kingston.

Born Nov. 3, 1936 in Berwick, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Kipikash) Kachurka.

She was a graduate of Berwick High School. She retired from Wise Foods in Berwick. She was a member of Holy Spirit/St. Mary's Church, Mocanaqua.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Kachurka.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph Yatsko, whom she married June 9, 1956; son, Christopher, and his wife, Karen, Shickshinny; grandsons, Nicholas, Derek and Jordan Yatsko; brothers Steven Kachurka, Enola; John Kachurka, Berwick; and a sister, Madeline Reimiller, Berwick.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Mayo Funeral Home Inc., 77 N. Main St., Shickshinny, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Holy Spirit Parish/St. Mary's Church, Mocanaqua. with her pastor, the Rev. Donald Williams, as celebrant. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Walnut Street, Berwick. Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday.
