Meetings

NANTICOKE: The West Side Playground Association of Nanticoke, 1 p.m., in the Club Room. This will be the last meeting of the year. Dues will be collected and the election of officers will take place. President Michael Wisniewski will preside.

AVOCA: The Lackawanna and Wyoming Valley Railway Historical Society, 7:30 p.m., in the meeting room of the Iron Skillet Restaurant. Program will include members sharing slides of local railroads. Meeting is free and all interested parties are welcome.
