Mercy Center Skilled Nursing and Personal Care, Dallas, recently hosted a health care forum on understanding Alzheimer's disease and the needs of the caregivers. The event, held in the Rivers Room at the facility, included work stations on nutrition, therapeutic needs, blood pressure screening and Trial match. Presentations were given on the Alzheimer's Association's research, the disease, medications, recreation therapy and caregiver needs.
