Meyers class holds 50th reunion

Elmer L. Meyers High School Class of 1962 recently held its 50th anniversary reunion. Fifty-nine classmates participated in a tour of the high school led by Principal Michael Elias. The tour was followed by a luncheon held at the Wilkes-Barre Township American Legion. A memorial was displayed to remember the 37 classmates who have died. Classmates came from as far away as Oregon, California, Texas and Florida. The classmates will celebrate their 70th birthdays together in 2014.
