Michael Pasonick agrees to plead guilty to bribing school board member

SCRANTON - Local engineering firm owner Michael Pasonick has agreed to plead guilty to bribing a school board member who helped Pasonick's firm obtain a contract.

According to charges filed today by the U.S. Attorney's Office, Pasonick paid the school board member, who is not identified, more  than $1,000 sometime between January and June 2007.
