Millionaires blasted by Cometsâ?? big plays

CLARKS SUMMIT â?? Nathan Hollander is making a habit of creating big plays on special teams.

The Abington Heightsâ?? junior returned the opening kickoff of the game 87 yards for a touchdown, after registering a 93-yard kickoff return touchdown last week against Dallas.

Hollanderâ??s touchdown was just the start of the Cometsâ?? onslaught of Williamsport in a non-conference football game Saturday afternoon.

Abington Heightsâ?? quarterback Dante Pasqualichio threw for over 100 yards and two scores, and three different players scored rushing touchdowns in a 42-7 over Williamsport win at The Pit.

Williamsport backup quarterback Christian Diggs connected with tight end Tyler Gardner for a 12-yard touchdown, ending the Comets shutout with 4:49 left in the game. Devin Miller rushed for 103 yards on 17 carries to lead the Millionaires (0-3).

Abington Heightsâ?? tailback Quinn Karam, who rushed for 83 yards on 10 carries, scored on a 3-yard run with 4:41 left in the first quarter to stretch the Cometsâ?? lead to 14-0.

J.C. Show closed the first half with a 1-yard touchdown run.
