Misericordia University is observing Mercy Week, celebrating its heritage and founding by the Religious Sisters of Mercy, Sunday to Sept. 29. A series of events will take place for the campus community and the general public. The university's Staff Council will hold a ‘Stuff the Bus' event from 1 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday on the lawn of the Banks Student Life Center. The goal is to fill a bus with donations, including baby items such as pacifiers, bibs, diapers, sippy cups, socks and clothing and canned goods to be delivered to the United Methodist Food Pantry in Noxen. Donations from the public are welcome and can be dropped off at the Campus Ministry Office in the Banks Student Life Center.
