EXETER: The Cosmopolitan Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. on Sept. 4 at St. Anthony Center. Host and hostesses are George Mislan, Terri Mislan, Frank Onda, Ed Stankoski and Florence Stankoski.


Travel coordinator Johanna is accepting reservations for a trip to Mount Airy Casino on Sept. 12. Pick ups will be in Exeter and Pittston. Non-members welcome on trips. For details call Johanna at 655-2720.


KINGSTON: The Kingston Senior Center, 680 Wyoming Ave., is presenting "National Safe at Home Week" this week. Safety tips will be given each day for various areas of the home.


The center is offering the AARP driver safety class for new students from 1 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 15 and Oct. 22. A refresher class will be given from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 17. Call 287-1102 for reservations.


MINERS MILLS: The Miners Mills Community Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Sept. 4 at Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Pavilion. Plans for the Sept. 20 picnic will be discussed. Hostesses are Louise Christopher, Louise Cookus, Carolyn Byrne and Mary Cooper.


MOUNTAIN TOP: The Mountain Top Social Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. today at the St. Jude's Church, Father Nolan Hall Day Room. Doors will open at 1 p.m. New members are welcome. Hosts are Bill Dempski and Bill Cook.


Upcoming trips are planned to Woodloch Pines, Hawley, on Sept. 16 and Hunt's Landing, Matamorse, on Oct. 18. For reservations call Otto at 474-0641. WILKES-BARRE: The Firwood Senior Citizen Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the Firwood United Methodist Church, Old River Road and Dagobert Street. Refreshments will be served followed by a business meeting.


Dr. William Lewis, representing the Wyoming Valley Historical Society, will give a presentation on the Titanic. He will be assisted by Firwood Club member Mae Thomas, whose mother was a Titanic survivor.


Future trips include the Dutch Apple Theatre, Lancaster, to see Fiddler on the Roof on Sept. 8; Allenberry Theatre for dinner and the Alfred Hitchcock comedy smash hit "The 39 Steps" on Oct. 9; and the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse Christmas Show on Nov. 6. Call Maureen at 824-6538.


WILKES-BARRE: Rainbow Seniors met recently at Albright United Church. A reading was given by Dorothy Coach. Celebrating birthdays were Ed Evans, Doris Hughes and Aldona Smith.


Wedding anniversaries for Doris and Charles Hughes, Betty and Ted Krasnahill and Dorothy and Jack Coach were celebrated. Door prizes were won by Jack Coach and Charles Hughes.


The Christmas party will be held on Dec. 18.


The next meeting will be on Sept. 18. Servers are Ted Krasnahill and Betty Krasnahill. New members welcome.
