Names and Faces

Jami Layaou Hearn, Tunkhannock, a 1996 graduate of Wyoming Seminary, received the 2012 Outstanding Young Alumna Award at Seminary's recent homecoming festivities. She was recognized for her exceptional, ongoing volunteer service and many contributions to the school and her professional accomplishments. Hearn has been an active representative of the Class of 1996 and has served as a class agent. She serves on the Wyoming Seminary Alumni Council and the Seminary Open Golf Tournament Committee. She also serves as an alumni admission representative in Wyoming County. A 2000 graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Hearn holds a law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. She is an attorney in Wyoming County and a member of the Wyoming/Sullivan County Bar Association.

Beverly H. James, Dallas, was a second-place winner in the Endless Mountains Visitors Bureau's 2012 photo contest. Her photo captured the graceful beauty of a bald eagle.
