Names and Faces

Lauren Gallagher, a Scoil Rince Na Connemara dancer, placed third in the Mid-Atlantic Championship held on Dec. 1 in Ridgewood, N.J. Gallagher is now qualified to compete in the All Ireland competition in Killarney, Ireland. She is the daughter of Patrick and Michelle Gallagher, Dallas, and the granddaughter of David and Donna Schreffler, Hanover Township, and Brian and Diane Gallagher, Shavertown. She is the great-granddaughter of Robert and Betty Knorr, Kingston, and Marion Savakinas, Luzerne. Gallagher is a sophomore at Dallas Senior High School. She also has a brother, David Gallagher, who is in school in Pittsburgh.
