Names in the Military

Navy Seaman Apprentice Anthony Lemardy, son of Rosemarie and Ronald J. Athmann, Exeter, and Navy Seaman Devin S. Gower, son of Donna D. Gower and Robert H. Gower, both of Berwick, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Lemardy and Gower completed a variety of training which included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival and shipboard and aircraft safety. The capstone event was Battle Stations, which gives recruits the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the fleet.
