7 p.m. Saturday

The Coaches: Nanticoke's Ron Bruza (9-13, 3rd year); Meyers' Corry Hanson (4-9, 2nd year)

Last Meeting: Meyers 14-8 in 2011

All-Time Series: Meyers leads 45-28-3

Quick Fact: Meyers has won 11 of the last 12 meetings.

Scouting Nanticoke: The Trojans posted their second consecutive shutout, defeating Susquehanna 10-0. While that is impressive, neither opponent offered much in the ways of an offensive threat. When Nanticoke did play a good offensive team, it lost 34-8 to Lackawanna Trail.

Nanticoke has been learning on the run with a very young team. The Trojans run the ball 40 times a game, with a mixed bag of success. RB Pat Hempel leads the offense with 186 yards on 36 carries. He has also returned three kickoffs for touchdowns over the last two seasons.

Scouting Meyers: After winning their opener, the Mohawks ran into two Lackawanna Conference heavyweights on consecutive weeks and been outscored 77-20. They turned over the ball five times in last Friday's 35-13 loss to Lackawanna Trail.

RB Parrish Bennett, the WVC leading rusher in 2011 when he was at Hanover Area, had 100 yards vs. Trail after being stymied a week earlier. QB Teaguen Labatch threw a TD pass for the sixth in his last eight games.

What To Expect: A win here and Nanticoke equals its victory total of 2011. Slowing down Bennett will be the route to a win, but that's not an easy task by any means.
