FALLS: The Falls Senior Center, State Route 92, is offering free blood pressure screenings by Golden Living Center at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday.


The annual Christmas party will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. There will be free refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus at 12:45 p.m.


A special Christmas lunch will be served at 1 p.m. on Dec. 19. A Christmas sing-a-long will be held, accompanied by Stewart Atkinson, saxaphone; Ron Jackson, guitar; and Gene Smith, keyboard.


KINGSTON: The UGI Electric Retirees' Association will hold its Christmas meeting and luncheon at 1 p.m. on Dec. 19 at Vanderlyn's Restaurant, 239 Schuyler Ave. The business meeting will be held after the luncheon. All UGI Electric retirees are welcome.


PITTSTON: The Jenkins Township Senior Citizens group will hold its annual Christmas party at 6 tonight on Dec. 11 at the Jenkins Township Hose Company. Reservations are required. Please note the time change. The regular meeting will take place prior to the festivities and bingo will be played after dinner.


SWOYERSVILLE: Swoyersville Senior Citizens will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish hall.


The Christmas party will take place on Thursday at the Knights of Columbus. Dinner will be served at 2 p.m.


Winners of the 50-50 fundraiser at the last meeting were Marge Savoca, Ann Kuchemba and Arlene Kosco.


WILKES-BARRE: Members of St. Robert E. Bellarmine Senior Club met recently at the former St. Aloysius school cafeteria on Barney Street. The winner of the springer was Joe Kelly. Fifty-fifty winners were Ed Snitko, Mary Frances O'Brien and Mary Malloy.


The club will hold its annual Christmas party at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at R&D Memories, Lyndwood. Dorothy Sullivan is the chairwoman. She is being assisted by Midge Malshefski and Arline Gritsko.


There will be no December meeting. The next meeting will be on Jan. 9, weather permitting. Bakers and servers for the meeting will be Barbara Elgonitis, Mary Jane Forlin, Peg Hunter and Lorraine Loftus. New members are welcome. The club meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month.


WILKES-BARRE: The Rainbow Seniors elected new officers who will be installed on Jan. 15. Celebrating birthdays are the Rev. Dr. James Harring, Doris Harring and Bernadine Ricci.


The next meeting will be at 1 p.m. on Dec. 18 for the Christmas party at Albright United Methodist.
