ON THE MARK

Major Look is indeed a super talented three-year old filly pacer and tonight she looks to display her brilliance in the $25,000 Fillies & Mares Open Pace. The daughter of Art Major has had a superb year, winning seven times in just sixteen starts for trainer Robert Riddle, while banking $291,242 on the season. She's faced the best fillies in the country all of 2012 and has indeed tasted success as well, with her biggest victory of the season coming in the $190,850 Mistletoe Shalee over likely three-year old filly champion of the year American Jewel. This evening she tackles a good field of older mares, but with speed to her outside and inside, look for driver Brandon Simpson to have this filly poised to use her superb late kick to garner the win in that tenth race featured event.
