(AP) A Philadelphia judge who acquitted a police lieutenant of assaulting a woman in a videotaped arrest is himself married to a city officer.

Municipal Judge Patrick Dugan isn't commenting on the alleged conflict of interest.

But a lawyer for the woman injured by fired Officer Jonathan Josey at a Puerto Rican Day parade says it looks really, really bad that Dugan never mentioned his wife's job.

And a city councilwoman says the community is outraged by Tuesday's verdict.

The video shows Josey taking a swing at 40-year-old Aida Guzman, knocking her down and leaving her with a split lip.

A defense lawyer says Josey was trying to knock a beer out of her hands after Guzman refused orders to drop it.

Josey plans to petition to get his job back.
