It's a good thing the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins play the Binghamton Senators tonight.

For now, it's about the only thing they can count on as the NHL continues to sort out when training camp and the season would begin if the lockout ends as expected this week.

Other than the games on the AHL schedule, Penguin players don't know what's going to happen from one day to the next.

There's a lot of uncertainty, said Brian Strait, one of the players who could get an invite to Pittsburgh's training camp, which will likely open this weekend.

That's why Beau Bennett – another player mentioned in Pittsburgh talks, is focusing on one thing – tonight's game at the Mohegan Sun Arena against a Binghamton team that has beaten the Penguins four out of five contests.

We have a game (tonight). That's where I'm keeping my focus, he said.

While uncertainty surrounds all of the hockey world, there are some things that the Penguins can count on.

They'll face Binghamton tonight in an effort to turn around a dreadful skid that has resulted in two wins in the last 14 games and they'll do so with a full roster.

At least that was the plan of head coach John Hynes after Tuesday's practice, who said Jeff Zatkoff will get the start in net.

We'll be at full-go, Hynes said, adding that Bennett, Robert Bortuzzo and Eric Tangradi – all of whom were scratched on Sunday, will likely be back in the lineup tonight.

As of now, everyone's going to be here and continue to play.
