WILKES-BARRE ‚?? City police reported the following:


‚?Ę Michael Bly reported Sunday tires were punctured on his vehicle while it was parked near his residence on Essex Lane.


‚?Ę Police said a Mac computer was reported stolen Tuesday from a computer lab in the Farley Library on the campus of Wilkes University.


‚?Ę A resident at 72 S. Hancock St. reported someone a pellet through a window on Tuesday.


‚?Ę William Shaw, 28, of South Grant Street, Wilkes-Barre, was arraigned Wednesday on charges he burglarized a former girlfriend‚??s residence on Carey Avenue.


Shaw was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault and harassment. He was jailed at the county prison for lack of $10,000 bail.


Shaw was confronted inside the residence by his ex-girlfriend and her boyfriend at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to the criminal complaint.


NANTICOKE ‚?? John Burton Derhammer Jr., 38, of East Broad Street, Nanticoke, was arraigned Wednesday on charges he assaulted a girlfriend.


Derhammer allegedly punched the woman several times and threatened to kill his mother if she called police at about 10:30 Tuesday night, according to the criminal complaint.


Derhammer was charged with simple assault, resisting arrest, terroristic threats and harassment. He was jailed at the county prison for lack of $7,000 bail.


PLYMOUTH TWP. ‚?? Jeffrey Steven Hummel, 42, of Mizdail Road, was arraigned Wednesday on charges he assaulted his wife and threatened their son with a knife during an argument inside their house Tuesday night, according to the criminal complaint.


State police allege Hummel was intoxicated.


Court records say Hummel was sentenced in January to 18 months house arrest for a third drunken driving conviction and was prohibited from consuming alcohol.


Hummel was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment. He was jailed at the county prison for lack of $7,000 bail.


FORTY FORT ‚?? Robert Louis Benussi III, 21, of Rutter Avenue, Kingston, was arraigned Wednesday on charges he provided a fake name to police investigating suspicious activity on Sullivan Street on Nov. 16.


Police said Benussi was wanted on an arrest warrant for failure to appear in court.


He was charged with providing false identification to law enforcement and public drunkenness. He was jailed at the county prison for lack of $3,000 bail.


PITTSTON ‚?? Richard Joseph Cox Jr., 19, of Parsonage Street, Pittston, was arraigned Wednesday on charges of theft and driving without a license after he allegedly stole a Jeep Liberty parked outside Cee Kay Auto Parts on North Main Street on Nov. 27.


Police allegedly found Cox sleeping in the Jeep outside a North Main Street business several hours after the vehicle was stolen, according to the criminal complaint.


Cox was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.


PLAINS TWP. ‚?? A Wilkes-Barre woman was injured in a crash on Interstate 81 early Wednesday morning.


State police at Wyoming said Jonnice Zoe Durham, 22, was northbound on Interstate 81 when she lost control of her 2003 Kia at about 2 a.m. the vehicle overturned and landed on its roof.


Durham was transported to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township.
