HANOVER TWP. – Township police reported the following:
• Joseph Lombardo, 46, of North Locust Street, Hazleton, pleaded guilty to a disorderly conduct charge before District Judge Joseph Halesey on Wednesday. Township police said they cited Lombardo after he made a lewd action on Jan. 3 in the parking lot of Hanover Mall, Sans Souci Parkway.
Lombardo paid a $451 fine.
• Police cited Joseph Ksiazkiewicz, 19, of North Street, Plymouth, with underage drinking after investigating a man running in the street in Countrywood Estates on Jan. 6.
• Police cited Timothy Wunderlich, 43, of West Germania Street, with violating a township ordinance prohibiting loose dogs.
Police said Wudnerlich's pit bull was running at large and had to be contained. The citation was filed with District Judge Joseph Halesey on Jan. 7.
• Police charged Michael Ronald Griffith, 20, of Metcalf Street, on evidence of drunken driving after investigating a crash on East Liberty Street on Dec. 22.
Police allege Griffith was found passed out behind the steering wheel of a 2002 Chevrolet, which struck a metal post.
Griffith is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving, minor prohibited from operating a vehicle with alcohol and underage drinking.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled on Feb. 26 before District Judge Joseph Halesey.
HAZLETON – City police said they cited Ryan Eckhart, 33, of Lincoln Street, with disorderly conduct and concealing a pipe normally used to smoke marijuana after police investigated a man throwing a Christmas tree onto the street on Jan. 9.
Citations were filed with District Judge Joseph Zola.
HAZLE TWP. – State police at Hazleton said a 2004 Great Dane refrigerated trailer was stolen from U.S. Cold Storage on North Park Drive, Humboldt Industrial Park, last Friday.
