Martha Yanuzzi's pre-kindergarten class at St. Nicholas-St. Mary School recently celebrated the feast of St. Francis of Assisi as a part of their religion program. Each child brought their favorite stuffed animal to school for the event. The class gathered together for a special prayer to St. Francis and the children presented their stuffed animals to the class. With their animals, from left, first row, are Sophia Tomek, Ellie Richards, Matthew Ropietski and Rylie Domashinski. Second row: Eamon Lee, Helen McGinley-Mirin, Brendan Kane, Addyson Wroblewski, Andy Grove and Zoe Pecuch.
