Rebecca Lynn Price and Daniel Albert Nygren were united in the sacrament of matrimony on April 28, 2012, at Maple Grove United Methodist Church, Hunlock Creek. The Rev. Kenneth Brown officiated at the 2:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony.


The bride is the daughter of John and Judilyn Zierowicz, Wyoming, and the late Arlington Price III. She is the granddaughter of the late Phalm and Arlington Price Jr. and the late Frederick and Evelyn Johnson.


The groom is the son of Carol and Robert Nygren Jr., Sweet Valley. He is the grandson of Ruth Nygren, Sweet Valley; the late Robert Nygren Sr.; Grace Hicks, Meshoppen; and the late Albert Hicks.


Rebecca was given in marriage by her mother and chose her close friend, Amy Zavaskas, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristen Seroka and Michelle Moore, both close friends of the bride.


Best man was Narayan Gold, close friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Arthur Jankowski, close friend of the groom, and Eric Nygren, cousin of the groom.


The prelude was a flute solo of J.S. Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, performed by the bride's niece, Carolyn Price.


Following the wedding ceremony, an evening cocktail hour and reception were held at the Irem Country Club, Dallas. Wedding photography was done by Kristin Holland and Carlos Baez. The bride was honored with a bridal shower given by the groom's mother at Leggio's in Dallas. A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at Metro in Dallas.


The bride is a 2002 graduate of Dallas Senior High School and a 2006 graduate of Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, with an Associate of Science degree in architectural engineering. She is an independent demonstrator for Stampin' Up! and recently started her own handmade greeting card business called Custom Cards by Becky Nygren.


The groom is a 2000 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 2006. He is employed as a pharmacist by Rite Aid, Mountain Top.


The couple resides in the Back Mountain with their Siberian Husky, Kodiak.
