Pritchard notes 95th birthday

A gathering of the family of Ruth Pritchard, of Trucksville, to celebrate her 95th birthday took place recently in Staunton, Virginia.

The party was hosted by Cynthia Pritchard, Ruth’s granddaughter, and Cynthia’s daughter, Hannah Edmiston, Ruth’s great-granddaughter. The occasion was also the first meeting of five generations of the Pritchard family.

Attending were Ruth’s son, Jack, and his wife, Sandy, from Nokomis, Florida; and Ruth’s daughter, Vernalee Pritchard Holman, from Rangeley, Maine. Jack’s son, Vern, and Vern’s daughter, Claire, came from Jacksonville, Florida. Also, Cynthia’s son, Wayne Edmiston, and his daughter, Charlotte, came from Des Moines, Iowa, along with Cynthia’s son, Jack Edmiston, and his wife, Erica, and their son, Geraint, from San Antonio, Texas.

Additionally, Judy Pritchard from Daphne, Alabama, widow of Ruth’s son, the late Robert Pritchard, and Judy’s daughter, Sandy Pritchard Vernon, from Gloucester, Virginia, with her children, Andrew, Sarah and Matthew attended the reunion.
