WILKES-BARRE - The 4 p.m. ceremony unveiling the new riverfront project on Friday has been moved to the Millennium Circle Portal, between the Market Street Bridge and the Luzerne County Courthouse on North River Street.

The change was made due to the ground being too soggy and public safety, according to Jim Brozena, the head of the Luzerne County Flood Protection Authority.

The ceremony was originally set for the Amphitheater portal, south of Market Street, on South River Street.
