SERVPRO® of Hazleton and Harveys Lake, a local cleanup and restoration company, recently partnered with the City of Hazleton for its annual open house as part of National Fire Prevention and Safety Week. The event, which was open to the public, was held on Oct. 10 at the South Side fire station and main hub, East Broad Street. A vendor display table featured informational brochures and SERVPRO® gifts, including tote bags, flashlights, magnets and pens. Children received fire safety educational coloring books and crayons. Tours of the facility were conducted highlighting equipment, fire engines and fire safety and prevention tips. Attendees were given free carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms courtesy of the Hazleton Fire Department. At the event, is Kelly Berecin, marketing representative for the Hazleton/Harveys Lake territory, SERVPRO®.
