The Dallas Lions Club hosted a joint meeting of the service clubs in the Back Mountain at a dinner meeting held at Appletree Terrace, Newberry Estates. State Senator Lisa Baker was the guest speaker for the affair. Baker, a graduate of Dallas High School and Shippensburg University, reminisced about her high school days and gave a comprehensive report on what is happening in Harrisburg. The discussion included the Marcellus Shale pipelines and her work with the Veterans Affairs Committee.
