Sites and time set for District 2 championsâ?? state games

The sites and times for state football games involving District 2 champions were set Saturday night. They will be official pending approval from the PIAA on Sunday.

D2-2A champion Wyoming Area will take on D11 champion Pen Argyl at 1 p.m. Saturday at Northern Lehigh High School in Slatington. Pen Argyl defeated Catasauqua 26-20 in the D11 final on Saturday night.

D2-A champion Dunmore will play D4 champion Southern Columbia at 7 p.m. Friday at Valley View High School's stadium in Peckville.

D2-3A champion Abington Heights will face D11 champion Allentown Central Catholic at 1 p.m. Saturday at Valley View.

D2-4A champion Delaware Valley will host D11 Parkland at 1 p.m. Saturday for the District 2/4-11 Class 4A subregional title. The game is also a first-round state game.
