Nicole Anne Coulter and Joshua Lee Sorber were united in marriage on May 18, 2012, at St. Jude Church, Mountain Top, by the Rev. Jospeh Evanko. The bride is the daughter of John and Dorothy Coulter, Mountain Top. She is the granddaughter of the late Edward and Mary Coulter and the late Marcus and Edna Walden, all of Richmond Hill, N.Y. The groom is the son of Gary and JoAnn Sorber, Shickshinny. He is the grandson of the late Beach and Esther Sorber, Hunlock Creek, and Michael Dunay and the late Anna Dunay, Swoyersville. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose her sisters, Jessica Szerlik and Mary Kate Coulter, as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Wendy Coburn, sister of the groom; Sharon Sorber, sister-in-law of the groom; and Amy Smith and Paula Wisnewski, friends of the bride. The flower girls were Emma and Annie Bogdan, nieces of the bride. The groom’s friend, Greg Bigelow, served as best man. Groomsmen were Lou Sorber, brother of the groom; Lloyd Coburn, brother-in-law of the groom; and John Coulter Jr., brother of the bride. The ring bearer was Alex Bogdan, godson of the bride. A cocktail hour and reception were held at the Inne of the Abingtons, Dalton. A bridal shower, hosted by the mother of the bride and bridesmaids, was held at Beach Mountain, Drums. The rehearsal dinner, given by the parents of the groom, was held at Leggio’s, Wilkes-Barre. The couple honeymooned at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii and also spent time in Maui. The newlyweds reside in Ashley.
