LEHMAN TWP. – Emily Sutton and Cayle Spencer each poured in 23 points for Lake-Lehman in a 64-54 win at home against Crestwood in a Wyoming Valley Conference girls basketball contest.


Jen Konopinski and Danae Sutliff each added seven points for the Black Knights.


Crestwood was led by Sydney Myers, who scored 20, and Rebecca Rutkowski, who notched 12.

Pittston Area's big first-quarter lead help up in an opening round win in the Pittston Area Tournament. The Patriots advance to take on Holy Redeemer on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.


Mia Hopkins' 16 points led the Patriots while Barber scored 15, Eastin Ashby added 12 and Liz Waleski chipped in 11.


Serra Degnan's 16 points led Wyoming Area. Ashlee Blannet added 12 and Valerie Bott scored 11.
