Thanksgiving dinner fundraiser held at LCCC

The Luzerne County Community College NAACP Student Chapter 29 AC and the college's Food Services Department recently held a Thanksgiving dinner fundraiser. Proceeds from the dinner benefitted the LCCC NAACP scholarship fund to assist students in need. At the event, from left: Sheldon Owens, director, food services; Joe Everett, Drums, vice president, NAACP student chapter; Alyssa Grimes, Bear Creek, president, NAACP student chapter; Galina Brusilovski, assistant cafeteria and chef manager, food services; Thomas P. Leary, Kingston, president, LCCC; Veronica Rivera, Hanover Township; Francis Curry, director, admissions; Ron Strothers, adviser, NAACP student chapter and fitness center/gymnasium attendant; and Brian Kravitz, assistant chef, food services.
