George and Shirley Campas, Red Rock, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Dec. 4, 2012. They were married Dec, 4, 1987, in Alderson United Methodist Church, Harveys Lake. The Rev. William Kernnard performed the double-ring ceremony.


Mrs. Campas is the daughter of Gersham and Frances Hoyt, Mountain Top.


She is the fiscal coordinator of the Child Development Council, where she has been employed for the past 36 years. She has also been the administrative assistant for Avon District 2890 for the past 10 years. She is a youth group leader and a member of the prayer shawl ministry at the Maple Grove United Methodist Church.


Mr. Campas is the son of the late Claire Maxwell and the late George Campas.


He is self-employed as a carpenter. Angler George is an avid fisherman. He fishes all over the country in his free time -- Fish On.


The couple are the parents of Audrey Campas, a student at Luzerne County Community College majoring in the Surgical Technology Program.
