The Emmerts

Richard and Elizabeth Emmert celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 20, 2012. They were married by the Rev. John Lupinski in a double-ring ceremony at St. John the Evangelist Church, North Main Street, Wilkes-Barre.

Elizabeth is the daughter of the late Albert and Eleanor Berger. Richard is the son of the late Richard E. and Mary Emmert.

They are the parents of three daughters, Lisa and her husband, Michael Krzywicki; Susan and her husband, Mark Malloy; and Renee and her husband, Michael Barber.

They have five grandchildren, Kyra Krzywicki, Nicole and Mark Malloy and Abby and Emily Barber.

The Emmerts celebrated with family and close friends at an evening dinner party given by their children at Cooper's Seafood House, Pittston.
