The Hoovers

Mr. and Mrs. Lester Hoover, Idetown, observed their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Oct. 11. They were married on Oct. 11, 1952, in a candlelight ceremony held at Maple Grove Church, Pikes Creek.

Lester is the son of the late Mable Ide Hoover and Elmer Hoover. Virginia is the daughter of the late Marie Fraley Wolfe and Elmer Wolfe.

The Hoovers have three children, Cheryl Summa, Lehman; Joann Hoover, Alaska; and Curtis Hoover, Reading.

They have three grandchildren, Kristin and Scott Summa, Lehman, and Samantha Fisher, Alaska. They also have one great-granddaughter, Lillian Fisher, Alaska.
