The Jenkinses

Thomas and Jean Jenkins, Horsham, Pa., formerly of Wilkes-Barre, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 10, 2012.

Mrs. Jenkins is the former Jean Whitecavage, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Whitecavage.

Mr. Jenkins is the son of the late Edward and Marcella Jenkins.

Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins were married in Holy Trinity Church in Wilkes-Barre on Nov. 10, 1962. Their maid of honor was the late Barbara Whitecavage Vino. Bridesmaid was Nancy Nekrasz Vaskorlis. Flower girl was Donna Marie Rakowski Malak. The best man was the late Edward Jenkins and the usher was the late Michael Vino.

The couple are the parents of four children: Maureen Jenkins, Horsham, Pa., with whom they reside; Tom and his wife, Donna, Thornhurst, Pa.; Sandra and her husband, Bert Booz, Warminster, Pa.; Dan and his wife, Dannelle, Warminster, Pa. They have five grandchildren, Julia and Jack Booz and Rhiley, Matthew and Kyra Jenkins.

The couple are active members of the Firwood Seniors group of Wilkes-Barre and Nativity of Our Lord Seniors group of Warminster, Pa.

A family dinner will be held to celebrate the anniversary. The couple will vacation in Maui, Hawaii.
