The Snyders

Jack and Maureen Snyder, Wilkes-Barre, are celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary today, Nov. 4. They were married on Nov. 4, 1967, in St. Nicholas Church, Wilkes-Barre. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul VanManeen.

Maureen is the daughter of Peggy Panzarello and the late Frank Panzarello. She worked as a registered nurse in the ICU at the former Mercy Hospital for 30 years prior to her retirement.

Jack is the son of the late John Chick and Beatrice Snyder. He worked as an electrician out of IBEW Local 163 for 40 years prior to retiring.

The couple has three children, John, Wilkes-Barre; Stacey Hannigan and her husband, George, Springfield, Pa.; and Robyn, Wilkes-Barre.

The couple has three grandchildren, Maria Snyder, a law student in Baltimore, Md., and Colin and Morgan Hannigan, Springfield, Pa.

To celebrate the occasion the couple attended the Steeler/Eagle football game in Pittsburgh and is planning a trip to Las Vegas, Nev.
