The Wallaces

Dolores and Vincent Wallace, Hanover Township, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 31, 2013. They were married in St. Aloysius Church, Wilkes-Barre, by the late Rev. Alexander Moriarity.

Their attendants included Mrs. Joan Neher and the late Mr. Leo Wallace.

Mr. Wallace is retired from Old River Road Bakery.

Mrs. Wallace is also retired and was a professional seamstress and a sewing teacher at St. Aloysius School. She was also employed by the Piece Goods Store.

They are the parents of Jayne Beline-Hecht and her husband, Jim, Parsippany, N.J.; Teresa Rankin and her husband, John, Jacksonville, N.C.; Vincent Wallace and his wife, Karen, Fosters, Ala.; and the late Susan Wallace.

The couple has nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, one deceased.

The couple celebrated this special occasion with a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Aloysius Church and a family dinner held at the East Mountain Inn.
