The Watchulonises

Donald and Charlotte Watchulonis, Dallas, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Oct. 26, 2012. They were married by the Rev. Francis Kane in 1957 at Gate of Heaven Church in Dallas.

Mrs. Watchulonis is the daughter of late Helen and Frank Michael Sr. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Watchulonis owned and operated Hilltop Nursery School for more than 20 years in Dallas. She is an active volunteer in St. Frances X Cabrini Parish, Carverton, Wyoming, Pa., and with her quilting circle at Lake Winola.

Mr. Watchulonis is the son of late Josephine and William Watchulonis Sr. and is retired from Offset Paperback Manufacturers, Inc. after almost 30 years of employment. Mr. Watchulonis serves as a Eucharist minister for St. Frances X Cabrini Parish.

They are the proud parents of eight children and their grandchildren: Anne and her husband, Larry Rumpf, Doylestown, Pa.; Dianne, Dallas, Pa.; Donald and his fiancée, Sarah, Dallas, Pa.; Susan and her husband, James Case, Coplay, Pa.; Maribeth and her husband, Gary Krawetz, and their children, Jared and Julia, Dallas, Pa.; Michael and his wife, Vicki, and their children, Siena and Merida, Lilburn, Ga.; Claire and her husband, James Hammersley Jr., and their children, Elliott, Quinlan and Schuler, Tunkhannock, Pa.; and Daniel, Los Angeles, Calif.

The occasion was celebrated with a weekend of family events with children, grandchildren and friends.
