The Wengers

Jack and Gen Wenger, Kingston, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Nov. 22. They were married on Thanksgiving in St. Mary's Annunciation Church, Kingston. The ceremony was performed by the late Monsignor Anthony Norkunas.

Their maid of honor was Bernadine Thomasefski Hrivank, cousin. The best man was Carl Holmgren, brother of the groom.

Genevieve is the daughter of the late Joseph and Della Anskie, Swoyersville. She worked for the Municipality of Kingston and Blue Cross.

Jack is the son of the late Aloysious and Marion Wenger and the step-son of the late Marie Ann Wenger. He worked for Martz Trailways.

The couple are the parents of two children, Christopher John and wife, Tammy Bergold Wenger, Kingston, and Mary Theresa Wenger, Kingston. They have three grandchildren, Kirsten and Zachary Wenger and Alexa (Lexi) Biscotto, Kingston.

The couple are active members of the Kingston Senior Center and St Ignatius Loyola Church, Kingston.

A family dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day to celebrate their anniversary.
