The Zmijewskis

Shirley and Narcey Zmijewski Sr., Nanticoke, celebrated 60 years of marriage on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013. The couple was married at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 231 State Street, Nanticoke, on Jan. 31, 1953, by the Rev. Lance Staley.

Their best man was Matthew Forgach and the maid of honor was Caroline Granitzki Bavitz. They were supported by Delbert and Doris Vincent Hummel and Daniel and Irene Prushinski McMahon.

Narcey and Shirley have three sons, Narcey Jr., Robert and Dale Zmijewski, and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Bonkiewicz Zmijewski.

Narcey is the son of Aleksander and Genevieve Machinski Zmijewski.

Shirley is the daughter of Paul and Anna Granitzki Hummel.

The couple proudly resides in the Honey Pot section of Nanticoke.

A small family gathering was held to celebrate the occasion.
