NANTICOKE – Northwest overcame a 14-point deficit to give Nanticoke a game on Tuesday in boys basketball action, but the Trojans held on for a 44-43 victory at home.
The Trojans jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter nailing four 3s, but the Rangers came back to trim the deficit to 31-30 entering the fourth quarter.
Mike Malshefski led the Trojans with 15 points, while teammate Tyler Myers chipped in 12.
Northwest's Tyler Meininger score a game-high 20 points.

Chris Fazzini poured in a game-high 23 points for the Comets, but it wasn't enough as the Millionaires jumped out to a 29-20 lead at halftime.
Brady Gallagher added 14 points for Crestwood.
