EXETER – Ashleigh Nafus led Tunkhannock with a game-high 21 points as the Tigers held off Wyoming Area for a 53-47 win in exhibition girls basketball action Monday night.


Gabby Alguire and Maegan Wrubel each added 10 points for Tunkhannock.


Serra Degnan led the Warriors with 18 points, 12 coming in a fourth quarter rush that almost caught the Tigers.


Emily Wolfgang added 14 for the Warriors.

Pittston Area turned a halftime deficit around with a 20-5 third quarter to pull away from Nanticoke for the win on the road.

Alex Brassington led the Trojans with 11 points.
