Two Boy Scouts receive religious award

Chris Ercolani and Parker Dieffenbach, two Boy Scouts of Troop 193, Swoyersville, recently received the Ad Altare Dei award, a prestigious Catholic scouting religious award. The Scouts were presented with the award by the Most Rev. Joseph C. Bambera, bishop of the Scranton Diocese, during a special Mass at St. Peter's Cathedral, Scranton. The award was a culmination of 12 months of work by the Scouts that included bookwork, service work and various projects. From left: Ercolani, Bambera and Dieffenbach.
