(AP) US Airways says a false indicator caused the crew of a plane with 49 passengers to make an emergency landing.
The airline says the crew got an indication that there was a fire, but there wasn't one. No one was injured.
The plane, an Embraer ERJ 145 regional jet, took off shortly before noon from Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Conn. Airport spokesman John Wallace says it returned 15 to 20 minutes later.
Airline spokesman Bill McGlashen says passengers were being put back on the same plane and Flight 3518 would continue to Pittsburgh.
The plane was operated for US Airways Group Inc. by Trans States Airlines, which makes more than 150 regional flights per day for US Airways and United Airlines.
