(AP) Stock futures are rising ahead of a flurry of job market data coming out this week.

Dow Jones industrial futures are up 46 points to 12,797. The broader S&P futures have added 3.8 points to 1,409.30. Nasdaq futures are up 3.25 points to 2,667.75.

The crucial monthly jobs report will be released by the Labor Department on Friday, but markets will be looking for any clues regarding the health of the economy in Wednesday's report from payroll provider ADP. That report may carry more weight after the company updated its methodology last month.

Labor releases its weekly unemployment claims report Thursday.

Also on Wednesday, Labor releases its summer productivity report and economists predict growth at an annual rate of 2.7 percent, above the 1.9 percent increase estimated last month.
