Villano, Konetski

Melody Villano and Michael Konetski, together with their families, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Frances Villano and the late Donald Villano Jr., Hanover Township. She is the granddaughter of the late Muriel and Donald Villano Sr., Hanover Township, and the late Estelle and Eugene Fender, Valdosta, Ga.

The prospective groom is the son of the late Ruth and Raymond Konetski, Sugar Notch. He is the grandson of the late Martha and Michael Konetski, Sugar Notch, and the late Anna and Andrew Tomko, Truesdale Terrace.

The bride-to-be is a 1987 graduate of Hanover Area High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Misericordia University in 1991. She earned a master's degree from Wilkes University in 2002. She is employed as a second-grade teacher for Hanover Area School District.

The prospective groom is a 1979 graduate of Hanover Area High School. He is employed by Hanover Area School District in the Maintenance Department.

The couple will exchange vows May 25, 2013, in Luzerne United Methodist Church, Luzerne.
