The Wyoming Valley Conference was shut out of the all-state selections Thursday as the Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State football teams were announced for Class 3A and Class 4A.

The Lackawanna Conference didn't fare much better, landing a total of three players on the teams.

Abington Heights senior linebacker Jerry Langan made the 3A team. Delaware Valley senior quarterback Bryan Schor and Scranton senior Karlon Quiller were named to the 4A squad. Quiller, who played receiver and defensive back for the Knights, was selected as a defensive specialist.
