The Womens Society of SS. Peter and Paul Church in Plains Township recently attended a day of recollection at The Villa of Our Lady, Mt. Pocono. The Villa is operated by the Bernardine Sisters. The Rev. Joseph Freund, a passionist priest from New York City was the retreat master. The day included a series of talks, reconciliation, Divine Mercy, meditations, celebration of Mass and benediction. Some of the attendees shown are: Antoinette Stec, Emily Gorski, Betty Tkatch, Kathy Savitski, Joan Marchetti, Audrey Golomb, Ann Marie Swetz, Joan Pisack, Mary Ann Krokos, Mary Drew, Josephine Kline, Gloria Flynn, Jean Chapasko, Florence Borkowski, Jennie Nat, Mary Jo Marek, Pat Mravchak, Eleanore Andreoli, Sylvia Waskiewicz, Lillian McGrady, Betty Jean Hession, Irene Kile, Pat Waselus, Dorothy Teresenski, Angela Trentowski, Stella Szymanski, Madeline Benish, Delphine Wejsmer, Mart Szczucki, Margaret Palmeri, Mary Gamus, Leona Svab, Marlene Stodle and Rev. Freund. The Rev. Joseph Greskiewicz is pastor and society moderator.
