Womer, Smee

Mary Smee and Karl Womer, together with their families, announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Sharon Considine, Harveys Lake, and the late Joseph Smee. She is the granddaughter of the late George and Genevieve Smee, Edwardsville, and Senator Frank O'Connell and Mary O'Connell, Kingston.

The prospective groom is the son of Carl and Cynthia Womer, Bloomsburg. He is the grandson of Carl Womer and the late Helen Womer, Centralia, and Jeanne Wysocki and the late Francis Wysocki, Danville.

Mary is a 2000 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School and earned a bachelor's degree in education from College Misericordia in 2004. She will complete a master's degree in education from King's College in May 2013. She is employed at Good Shepherd Academy, Kingston.

Karl is a 2003 graduate of Central Columbia High School and earned a degree in landscape nursery technology from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2007. He is co-owner of Morning Sun Landscaping and Design, Bloomsburg.

The couple will exchange vows on May 25, 2013, at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, Kingston.
